Student arrested after threat found at Union College
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Barbourville arrested a student after finding a threat written on the wall of a library rest room at Union College.
Police say the message read, “Kill them all tonight, 9 p-m student center.” Investigators later took 18-year-old Connor Kelley into custody, saying that he admitted to writing the threat.
According to police, Kelley said he was aware of a similar threat written in a rest room at EKU, and did this to get attention. That threat at EKU forced the cancellation of classes. Students head back to class there Wednesday.
