Student Accused Of Attacking School Bus Monitor

A student at Tates Creek Middle School is accused of attacking a school bus monitor after getting out of class.

According to the Fayette County School District, a bus monitor was standing by the school bus Tuesday waiting for children to get on the bus.

The District says that’s when a high school student charged at the bus monitor and attacked her.

The high school student is charged with 3rd degree assault.

The school bus monitor was treated and released from St. Joseph East Hospital.
