Rainy pattern continues, better weekend forecast
More scattered showers are on the way Wednesday as warm October air stays with us. A few thunderstorms are possible this evening, but severe weather is not likely. Overnight, steady rain will develop, bringing a minor flood threat to communities along rivers and creeks. Rain continues through Thursday, becoming more scattered in the afternoon and evening. A few showers are still possible Friday morning, but we will dry out in time for football games, and a sunny weekend is ahead for the UK homecoming game! – Meteorologist Mike Joyce

THURSDAY – Steady morning rain, then scattered showers. Cloudy with highs in the low-70s.
