Store that sold $1 million Powerball ticket announced
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – While no one hit last night’s Powerball jackpot, one winner in Kentucky did win the game’s second prize of $1 million, according to the Kentucky Lottery.
This is the fifth $1 million winner in Kentucky in the past 18 days.
The ticket, sold in Crestwood at the Circle K at 6465 W Highway 146, matched all five white ball winning numbers but not the Powerball. The winning numbers are:
3 – 21 – 45 – 53 – 56 with a Powerball of 22
There were three $50,000 tickets sold for the drawing, according to the lottery. They were sold at:
– Mellwood Valero, 1500 Mellwood Ave, Louisville
– Marathon Food Mart, 801 E Main, Lexington
– Five Star, 904 West Stockton, Edmonton
This is the second $1 million Powerball ticket sold during this 18 day stretch, while the other three $1 million winners were in the Mega Millions game.
The lottery says no winner has come forward with the $1 million ticket sold in Louisville for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.
Saturday night’s Powerball drawing now stands at an estimated $750 million, with a $428.6 million cash value. This is the 4th largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history, and the 3rd largest in Powerball game history.
