Stolen donut-making equipment found in storage unit

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- A storage facility in Georgetown contacted Georgetown Police tuesday regarding suspicious activity, upon investigating police found $17,000 worth of stolen donut machinery.

Storage Sense Storage Facility contacted GPD in regards to suspicious activities by storage renters. An officer responded and began an investigation, and determined it needed to be searched further.

Detectives searched the storage unit and found over $17,000 worth of stolen property from a New Mexico donut shop. As a result detectives are working close with New Mexico Authorities,and the victim of the burglary.
