State Police suspect alcohol in deadly Knox County crash

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a man driving on Ky. 1803 Saturday afternoon lost control of his truck, ran off the road, hit and embankment and flipped it.

The coroner pronounced 43-year-old Jeffrey Mills dead on scene.

He was the only person in the car and no other cars were involved in the crash that happened just after 4 p.m., investigators say.

Troopers suspect alcohol contributed to the crash and Mills wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
