Stanton and Campton receive ARC grants for city improvements

STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The City of Stanton in Powell County is receiving a $500,000 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant to update and expand the city’s sewer line system.

The grant will replace Stanton’s septic systems and deliver sewage systems to 55 households and one business.

The City of Campton in Wolfe County is receiving a $635,367 ARC grant to replace the city’s failing water storage tank.

The existing 100,000 gallon tank will be replaced with a new, elevated 200,000 gallon storage tank.
