Springfield man charged in domestic violence case involving baby

SPRINGFIELD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Washington County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after investigators say he assaulted a teenage girl and held her and a baby against their will while violating an Emergency Protective Order and Domestic Violence Order (EPO/DVO) out against him, according to State Police.

Investigators say 20-year old Ryan Curtsinger, of Springfield, assaulted and unlawfully restrained 18-year old Hannah Hardison, of Springfield, and 1-year old Riley Curtsinger, of Springfield.

State Police say a family member took Hardison to Springview Hospital in Springfield where she was treated for her injuries.

Investigators say Ryan Curtsinger was arrested without incident and taken to the Marion County Detention Center in Lebanon.

State Police say he was charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence), violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree.
