Lexington police hope surveillance video will help them track down a suspect in a convenience store robbery.

They say someone walked into the Speedway on Paris Pike at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday and handed the clerk a note.

The note said he was armed with a gun and wanted money from the register.

Police say the suspect ran off, heading toward an apartment complex nearby.

The suspect was not covering his face so they hope to get a good look at him on surveillance video.
