Southern Kentucky Book Fest is this week in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) – The Southern Kentucky Book Fest is being held later this week in Bowling Green, featuring author presentations, panel discussions and book signings.

The festival also includes the Kentucky Writers Conference on Friday, presented by several authors who will be at the main event on Saturday. Friday is also Children’s Day, with hundreds of school-aged children and teens visiting presentations and having books signed. There’s also a Teen Writers Conference geared toward students in grades 9 through 12.

A news release from the Book Fest said 150 authors and illustrators are expected for the event. It is held at Western Kentucky University’s Knicely Conference Center.
