SoulFeast announces participating restaurants, food options

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – SoulFeast Week and Black Soil are teaming up to present a 10-day celebration of Black culinary excellence, highlighting Black farmers, chefs, food establishments, caterers and culinary vendors in Central Kentucky. The event will run from June 18 through June 27.

Featured in the festivities will be 12 curated dining experiences and unique, off-menu entree options from participating Black owned restaurants and food establishments. Participating restaurants can do so for free and must source at least one food item or ingredient through Black Soil.

According to Soulfeast Week, this culinary event “is an opportunity for Kentuckians of all races and backgrounds to directly provide support for Black businesses by putting their money where their mouths are – literally.”

On Saturday, June 26th, 2021 is ‘SoulFeast Saturday‘ Presented by The Food Connection
at UK. The event will take place at The Summit Fritz Farm and is free to the public. All local
vendors are encouraged to participate, and the booth fee is $50. All food vendors must
source at least one food item/ingredient through Black Soil. Restaurants and Vendors for the week and SoulFeast Saturday can register at https://www.soulfeastweek.com/registration.
