Son charged with killing mom in northern Kentucky

BURLINGTON, Ky. (AP) – A man is facing murder and other charges in the death of his mother, whose body was found last week in northern Kentucky.

A statement from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office said 25-year-old Charles “Hunter” Rohlman was charged Wednesday in the death of his mother, Tammy Rohlman, of Burlington. The statement says Tammy Rohlman’s body was found Nov. 17 after family members had reported last seeing her on Nov. 12.

Authorities say Hunter Rohlman made admissions that corroborated multiple findings in the investigation and led to his arrest. Along with murder, he is charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and falsely reporting an incident. He is being held at the Kenton County jail on a $1 million bond.

Jail records don’t indicate whether he has an attorney.
