Somerset man sentenced for killing girlfriend & hiding her body

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Pulaski County man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing his girlfriend and hiding her body in a sinkhole.

Johnny Ray Hendrix pleaded guilty in the October 2014 murder of Monica Wells. Investigators say she had disappeared, and her body later turned up in a 12-foot sinkhole. Leslie County deputies later found and arrested Hendrix.
