Solid Blue fans react as 7 Wildcats head for NBA

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – ABC 36 took some time to talk with Solid Blue fans after 7 players announced they were heading to the NBA draft Wednesday.  While most say they expected several players to leave early for the pros, many told us it’s bittersweet to see them go.

People aren’t, however, losing themselves in nostalgia and memories of an incredible season.The people we talked to say, though it’s sad to see a great team break up, they’re already looking forward to next year.
