Social, emotional support available this summer for Fayette students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In the just completed coronavirus-impacted school year, Fayette County Public Schools Mental Health Specialists made thousands of contacts after the pandemic hit Lexington.

FCPS says District Mental Health Specialists made 27,030 contacts with students and families between March 16 and May 27.

The district says the specialists remain on-call and available to work with children and youth this summer.
