Small fire forces Applebee’s in Hamburg to close early

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A small fire forced an Applebee’s in Hamburg in Lexington to close early on Tuesday. Fire investigators say the fire was behind a grill in the restaurant kitchen. No one was hurt, according to investigators. The restaurant closed for the remainder of the day. Firefighters say it was unclear if the restaurant would reopen on schedule on Wednesday.
