Slippery roads shut down I-64 in Franklin County
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Road workers in Franklin County shut down I-64 in both direction Sunday morning while they worked to treat the road and clean up accidents.
Franklin County’s sheriff reports between 10 and 12 accidents between mile markers 53 and 58 Sunday morning. Slippery conditions and black ice caused the accidents.
There was also a portion of the Bluegrass Parkway shut down in Anderson County, according to state police.
