Six venomous snakes killed on Kentucky Power service call
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Power crews say they had to handle scary encounter while on a service call in Eastern Kentucky.
Power workers say they had to kill six venomous snakes in the Pikeville area.
They say they were in Grassy Fork of Raccoon Creek to fix a broken pole and restore power to about a dozen customers when they noticed seven copperheads.
According to Kentucky power, the crew and a nearby homeowner were able to kill six of the snakes.They say the seventh one slithered away into the woods.
