Six of seven COVID-19 cases in Jackson County from same nursing home

ANNVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Six of the seven confirmed coronavirus cases in Jackson County are from the same nursing home, according to the judge-executive.

All six of the patients at Signature Healthcare at Jackson Manor Rehab & Wellness Center in Annville are in isolation and are being closely monitored, according to officials.

The lone patient not connected to the nursing home is self-isolating, according to officials.

Judge-Executive Shane Gabbard says he talked to the CEO of the facility’s corporate owner, Signature Healthcare, and says every resident and staff member at the nursing home has been tested for COVID-19.

Jackson Manor is working closely with the Cumberland Valley District Health Department to stop the spread of the virus in the facility, according to Gabbard.
