Signal work scheduled Sunday at busy intersection

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Signal work is scheduled Sunday, October 2, at the busy intersection of Richmond Road and Man O War Boulevard in Lexington.

The Transportation Cabinet says the work is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m.

The majority of the signal upgrades will be performed off of the road.

Lane closures will be in effect if deemed necessary during the installation process.

Signals will be “dark” during certain stages while the upgrades are being performed.

Lexington Police will be direct and assist motorists through the work zone.

The work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
