Shot fired inside video game store in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are looking for a man they say fired a gun inside a video game store.

Police say it happened just before 4:30 p.m. in The Game King in the Eastland Shopping Center on Winchester Road.

Employees told investigators they heard a single gunshot.  They say immediately following the shot, a man with two children came up to the counter, bought something and left.

Investigators say no one was hit.  They’re trying to determine if the gun accidentally discharged.  They say they found a .22 caliber shell casing inside the business.

Police are looking for the man they believe discharged the gun.
