Sherman Denny pleads guilty in court, felony charges waived to grand jury
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Accused con man Sherman Denny has pleaded guilty to some of the charges against him.
Denny pleaded guilty today to some of the warrants accusing him of theft.
He will spend 30 days in jail for each theft.
Police accused Denny of approaching people, asking for money claiming he had forgotten his diabetes medicine.
Police also accuse Denny of fleeing and wanton endangerment related to his arrest after a chase on March 25th.
A grand jury will now consider those charges.
