Sheriff: Stolen moped recovered, arrest made
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office says an arrest has been made after a deputy investigated an apparent stolen moped.
The Sheriff says the moped was propped up on a porch on Four Oaks Road, about 7 miles north of London. A deputy went to investigate after receiving a call Monday evening around 6:00 p.m. When he got there, the deputy discovered the moped had been reported stolen. The deputy says the resident of the home, 22-year-old Dustin Patterson, told him the bike had been given to him.
Patterson was charged with receiving stolen property, and taken to the Laurel Co. Detention Center.
