Sheriff: Man turns co-worker in after making school threat
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is arrested at his job, accused of making a threat against schools, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff John Root says 25-year-old Jacob Lee Davenport was taken into custody just after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a co-worker told his supervisor that Davenport said he was going to be the next school shooter.
The supervisor then called authorities.
Root says, when questioned, Davenport admitted to making the statement.
He was booked into the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with terroristic threatening.
