Sheriff issues warning about bad heroin in Rowan County
ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is warning people about a lethal batch of heroin in the area.
The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook that emergency crews responded to two heroin overdoses on Christmas Day.
“We had a third at the end of last week, which would seem to indicate someone has brought heroin into the county that is even more deadly than normal,” according to the post.
The sheriff’s office says anyone who may have family members or friends who use heroin should contact them immediately and ask them not to use any recently-purchased product.
