Sheriff: Bank robber left without getting any cash

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man and a female getaway driver after a failed bank robbery attempt late Thursday afternoon. Deputies say a man wearing a hooded shirt with a scarf and sunglasses walked into a Fifth Third Bank branch on Springdale Drive in Nicholasville just before 5:00 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

Investigators say the man left the bank without getting any money and jumped into a black sedan driven by an unidentified woman.
