Shatner’s ex gets Woodford County home

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — Actor William Shatner will get the horse-breeding equipment and his ex-wife Elizabeth will get their home in Woodford County, according to a variety of media reports.

The actor of Star Trek fame and his wife filed for divorce in December after 18 years of marriage. The divorce was finalized Tuesday in California.

William and Elizabeth Shatner divided their homes, including the one in Versailles, People magazine reported. Two years ago, Shatner tweeted he only visited the home “once or twice a year.”

According to the Associated Press, Shatner has had homes in Kentucky, including Lexington, for more than 30 years. The couple have trained American saddlebred horses.

According to several different media outlets, William Shatner will get two of their horses, Renaissance Man’s Medici and Powder River Shirley, and his former wife will get the other two, Belle Reve’s So Photogenic and Pebbles.

The actor will get the horse-breeding equipment, including “all horse semen,” TMZ reported.
