Sexual abuse suspect in court Monday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say five female juveniles have come forward against a Lexington man, they say sexually abused them in January 2016.
According to court documents, Eric Lamont Canada, 46, was arrested in connection to the case and is charged with sexual abuse.
All of the victims were under the age of 13, according to investigators.
The victims say Canada touched them inappropriately and exposed himself. Court documents reveal that Canada was alone with the juveniles at a home in Lexington, when all of this occurred.
The victims called a relative for help. That relative told them to ‘run upstairs’ and hide from the suspect. However, Investigators say the Canada followed his victims.
All five juveniles were able to get away from Canada when they ran out of the house and to a neighbor for help.
Canada will appear in court on Monday.
