UK Police investigating a sexual abuse report
Lexington, Ky (WTVQ) –The University of Kentucky Police Department has issued a crime bulletin for the UK community.
UK officials tell us that on Thursday the UK Police Department received a report of sexual abuse that occurred Wednesday evening, in The Arboretum.
Police say a female, that is not a student was running in the Arboretum shortly after 5 p.m. when she was a victim of sexual abuse by a man she didn’t know.
They say the suspect slowed down and as she passed him, he slapped and groped her backside. He then ran away in the opposite direction toward the parking lot.
According to the University the victim described the suspect as a white male, around 20 years old, of short stature with light colored hair and wearing a white shirt and bright shorts.
