Senator Rand Paul Talks About 2016 Presidential Run
After the Conservative Political Action Conference this week, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul spoke out about a possible run for president in 2016.
His peers voted him as the CPAC’s Presidential Preference Poll.
This is his second year in a row to win that title.
“You know, we’re defiantly talking about it,” Paul said on a Sunday morning talk show.
Iowa’s Republican Party Chairman, AJ Spiker, announced that he is leaving his position to go work for Rand Pac, which is a group that supports Paul.
“I truly haven’t made my mind up and won’t make my mind up until after the 2014 elections,” Paul said. “But, you know, I haven’t been shy about saying that we are thinking about it.”
