Sen. Rand Paul assaulted at his home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Senator Rand Paul was assaulted Friday at his Bowling Green home.

State Police report the Sheriff’s office has arrested 59-year-old Rene Bousher.

Investigators have found Bousher intentionally hurt Paul.

State Troopers responded to Paul’s home just before 3:30 Friday afternoon.

Bousher is now behind bars in the Warren County Detention Center.
