Semi knocks traffic lights out at busy Lexington intersection

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police directed traffic Monday night after a semi hit the traffic control box, knocking out the traffic lights at the busy intersection of Man O War Boulevard and Mapleleaf Drive, according to LPD.

Safety cones were placed while a utility bucket truck made repairs while officers directed traffic flow.

Police say they hoped to have the traffic signals operational and the intersection back to normal by 10:30 p.m.
