Semi driver saved by witnesses after fiery crash on I-75

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) — Richmond police say one semi-truck rear-ended another late Tuesday night on I-75 in Madison County. They say witnesses pulled one of the drivers out of his cab after his truck caught fire.

According to KYTC, the crash happened just before midnight near mile marker 90 on I-75 near Richmond.

According to police, after the driver was pulled from the cab, he was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The northbound lanes of I-75 were shut down throughout the night and traffic is still being diverted this morning.
