Update: Road clear after semi crash closes US 25 near Sadieville in Scott County

Update 7:10 a.m.- Crews say they have cleared the roadway.

SADIEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — According to KYTC, a semi has flipped into the ditch alongside US 25 in Scott County, near Sadieville, closing both north and south-bound lanes.

KYTC says it happened just before six this morning.

They say people traveling on US 25 north-bound can take Porter Road to I-75 North, then take exit 144 to get back to US 25.

They say anyone going south-bound can take I-75 South from exit 144 to exit 136, then take Porter Road to get back to US 25.

So far, no information is available about potential injuries, but they say the road will be closed at least two more hours.
