Search warrant leads to 5 arrests in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown Police say a search warrant on a home where they believe the person staying there was wanted for multiple felony offenses and a suspect in gang activity and recent shooting, has been arrested with four other people.

Police say three semi-automatic handguns, one assault rifle, and narcotics were found in the home. They say that since the home was close to Garth Elementary School, children were kept inside the school until the scene was clear.

Police charged William Ellison “Mic Sinatra”, who had seven warrants out for his arrest. They also charged Jaymal Washington, Davi Stanley, Jaylen Owens, and Alicia Mills.
