Search underway in Garrard County for Savannah Spurlock

GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Crews are out in Garrard County, searching for a Richmond woman who went missing last month.

Joining the Richmond Police Department and Garrard County Emergency Management in the search for Savannah Spurlock is the Cajun Coast Search and Rescue. The team came up from Louisiana to try and help locate Spurlock.

Spurlock was last seen January 4 leaving the Other Bar in Lexington. Surveillance video showed her with two men.

Richmond police say the two men, along with a third, have been questioned in her disappearance.

On January 22, investigators say they served a search warrant on a home on Perkins Lane in Lancaster in connection to Spurlock’s disappearance.

According to ABC 36 reporter Christy Bollinger, who is on the scene, crews are currently searching a farm off Perkins Lane just up the road from the home.

Richmond Police say the areas of interest were searched thoroughly so now search efforts will be elsewhere.
