Search Underway For Jail Escapee From Lincoln County

Lincoln County Regional Jail inmate Kenneth Shaffer, 58, of Crab Orchard, walked away from a community service detail at the Garrard County Recycle Center Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., according to jailer David Gooch.

Shaffer is 5′ 9", 155-pounds with blond hair, beard and mustache and blue eyes.

He was last wearing a blue community service inmate uniform.

The jailer said Shaffer was serving 45-days for DUI and related offenses.

Authorities said Shaffer was not considered to be armed or dangerous.
