Search to resume Tuesday for missing woman in state park

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A search is scheduled to resume Tuesday morning for an Owensboro woman who went missing Saturday evening in Cumberland Falls State Park, according to McCreary County Emergency Management.

Officials say the call came in Saturday around 6:30 p.m. that 24-year old Nina Parker got separated from a group of several people she was with around the north fork of the Cumberland near trail number 9.

Since the call came in, search and rescue teams have been looking for Parker on land and in the water.  Officials say on Tuesday they plan to search the area below ‘Eagle Falls.’  The EMS director tells ABC 36 News that at this point, the search will become a recovery operation.
