Search for suspect in Nicholasville bank robbery

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Nicholasville police have released surveillance pictures of a suspect they say robbed a bank Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened at the Citizens Commerce Bank on South Main Street around 11:30 a.m.

Police say the suspect walked in, showed a weapon and demanded money.

Investigators say he was last seen in the area of Shannon Parkway leaving the scene.
