UPDATE: Missing Knox Co. woman found safe

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Officials say Tammy Ortenzi-Smith has been reported safe.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities in Knox County are asking for the public’s help finding a woman who went missing February 5, 2019.

Investigators say 45-year old Tammy Ortenzi-Smith was last seen in Flat Lick more than a week ago.

She is 5’2″ with hazel eyes.  Both of her arms are almost covered with tattoos and she has a butterfly tattoo on her back shoulder, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
