LPD: Man uses hatchet in convenience store robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police are looking for a man who they say used a hatchet to rob the Bluegrass Mart on Squires Road.

Investigators say the man went into the business around 8:30 p.m. Monday, pulled the hatchet on a clerk, demanded money, got it and ran off.  Police say no one was hurt.

Investigators say they found some of the stolen money that was dropped by the robber, but they were still looking for the suspect.
