Search is on for Bell County jail escapee

MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say 38-year old Jason Carbone escaped from the ball court area of the Bell County Detention Center early Monday evening. Investigators say Carbone is now wanted for Escape 2nd Degree. Carbone is white, 6’0″ tall, around 145-pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange detention center jumpsuit. Anyone with information that could help investigators find Carbone is asked to call State Police Post 10 at 606-573-3131.
