Search for Driver after Man Hit & Killed
FRANKLIN COUNTY Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin County Sheriff says they are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian Tuesday morning and drove off.
Sheriff Pat Melton says the man was walking along I64 near exit 53 at around 12 a.m. when he was hit. Melton says the driver kept going. The victim was hit by other drivers who could not avoid him. Melton says they all stopped and called 911.
Deputies are now searching for a Honda Ridgeline with heavy front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
