Search continues for man accused of murder in Whitley Co.

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Corbin Police say they received a tip on accused killer Nicholas Rucker’s whereabouts around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Rucker was last seen entering Mountain View Lodge at exit 25 in south Corbin.
Corbin Police, along with Whitley County sheriff’s deputies, KSP, and Williamsburg Police are using K9’s and helicopters to try to find Rucker.
They say Rucker was last seen wearing jeans, no shirt, and no shoes. Rucker is considered armed and dangerous.

He’s accused of gunning down his girlfriend, Vicki Conner. She was found shot to death in a home in the Woodbine community on May 22, 2019, according to investigators.
WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The sheriff’s office and state police continue their search for Nicholas Rucker.
He’s wanted for murder, after the death of Vicki Conner, last Wednesday.
Sheriff Todd Shelley says he saw Rucker Monday, near Highway 511, and started to chase him.
State troopers, Williamsburg Police, Corbin Police, and the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office helped, but Rucker was able to run away.
Rucker is believed to have a gun.
