Search Continues At Laurel Lake
Crews aren’t giving up hope in their search for Clarence Holmes.
Search teams are using sonar technology along the bottom of the lake, which goes down to 160 feet. A K-9 unit will be searching the woods.
“We’re prepared for the long haul,” says Jerry Rains, Kentucky Emergency Management Regional Response Manager, “And working tonight when the lake calms down and gets a little cooler. We will hopefully do better at night.”
Family and friends have posted flyers all around the lake.
“The family has been here throughout and has been very helpful in making flyers and getting those distributed and attempting to do all they can under very rough circumstances,” Rains comments.
Police ask everyone to be on alert looking for Holmes. They say he may be disoriented and not know who he is because of what happened to him.
