Scott County restaurant holds fundraiser for firefighter
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown firefighter Johnnie Jacobs received some support Saturday morning.
People came to Cattleman’s Roadhouse to raise money for him.
Jacobs had to retire in august because years on the job gave him lung disease.
Just a few weeks ago he received a double lung transplant.
At the roadhouse, people gave $7 a plate in exchange for a pancake breakfast.
There was also a silent auction.
Money from both will go to Jacobs’ family to help pay medical bills.
