Scott Co. Sheriff blames I-75 crash on sleepy driver
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Scott County Sheriff’s Office blames a crash Sunday morning on a sleepy driver.
Deputies say around 11:15 a.m. a truck towing a trailer flipped and blocked southbound lanes on I-75.
That happened near mile marker 133. The Sheriff’s Department says the driver fell asleep and ran off the left side of the road.
It’s when he tried to come back up that he flipped and blocked all three lanes of traffic.
He had some minor injuries, some scratches on his elbow, but he’s okay and all lanes are now open again.
