Scott Co. Sheriff: 10-Year-Old Hit by Car Condition Slightly Improved

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, a 10-year-old girl who was hit by a car on Tuesday is now in serious but stable condition.

Deputies say Autumn Fox had picked up some flowers on the side of Paris Pike in Georgetown and was headed to her mom’s car when another car ran into her. She was taken to UK Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The child’s family released this statement:

"We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts. Right now we are just waiting for Autumn to wake up. She is in stable condition as of now and will hopefully stay in stable condition so she can undergo surgery one her leg tomorrow."
