Salvation Army looking for coats, winter weather clothing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As colder weather approaches, the Salvation Army is asking for donations of coats and other winter weather clothing.

Andrea Kaler, associate development coordinator with Salvation Army, says they are running low on coats, thermals, shoes, socks, scarves, and children’s winter clothing.

The Salvation Army’s donation center, located at 736 W. Main Street, is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  If the donation center is closed, the Lodge on the same property will be open 24 hours a day.
