Salvation Army CEO visits Asbury University

WILMORE, Ky.(WTVQ) — Salvation Army CEO General Brian Peddle is speaking to Asbury University students on Wednesday.

Asbury University officials say his wife, Rosalie will join him.

“I have heard about Asbury for years and it is neat to be speaking at Chapel,” Peddle said. “I am excited to be experiencing Asbury for myself after hearing many wonderful stories from Asbury graduates and students.

Asbury University has been a partner with The Salvation Army for 90 years and offers online degree programs for Salvation Army officers, according to the university.

Peddle is the CEO and international leader of 1.7-million Salvation Army members worldwide.
